Job Description

  • Internal EOI - Temporary (Up to May 2026) full-time (35 hours per week) opportunity
  • Maternity leave backfill with a possibility of job share from May 2026 Oct 2026.
  • Office location Parramatta/Sydney based with flexible working supported
  • Clerk Grade 11/12 - Salary relative to experience and ranges from $145378.00 - $168130.00 super

This is a targeted role under GSE Rule 26 and Aboriginal people are encouraged to apply.

The role:
In this dynamic role you will provide operational high-level executive secretariat and policy support to the Executive Director to facilitate the achievement of organisational and management objectives and serves as a focal point for all matters that require the direct intervention of the Executive Director.

This includes providing strategic advice managing communications and implementing strategies across Aboriginal Strategy Policy and Engagement and the department.

The Aboriginal Strategy Policy and Engagement (ASPE) division focuses on bettering outcomes with and for Aboriginal peoples communities and entities (our partners) in NSW. ASPE centralises the Departments coordination of Aboriginal outcomes to maximise the prosperity of our partners through approaches that unify our organisation response and representations which protect the cultural rights and interests expressed by the communities we seek to serve.
