Job Description
Hire Resolves client is actively seeking a talented Rigger to join their mining company located in the North-West region. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient rigging and lifting of equipment and materials within the mining operations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections and prepare rigging equipment for lifting operations.
- Coordinate with operators and ground crew to ensure lifts are executed safely.
- Conduct risk assessments and follow safety protocols during rigging operations.
- Perform regular maintenance and inspections on rigging equipment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all rigging activities and equipment usage.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior riggers.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Rigger Trade Test Certificate
- 3 - 5 years experience as a Rigger in an underground mining environment
- Valid Drivers License
