Job Description
Hire Resolves Client is urgently looking for a Mining Manager to be based at a mine in the Northern Cape!
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all mining operations including bench preparation drilling blasting load & haul dump planning and pit maintenance ensuring alignment with project plans and safety standards.
- Manage geotechnical survey safety environmental and quality control processes to ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
- Drive operational efficiency through performance monitoring cost management equipment utilization and continuous business improvement initiatives
- Ensure effective people management including staffing training performance reviews and development of operational teams.
- Maintain strong client and subcontractor relationships ensuring service delivery meets SLAs and supports long-term project success.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Degree / National Diploma in Mining Engineering
- Opencast Blasting Certificate
- Mining Managers Certificate of Competency
- 15 years of mining supervisory experience in an opencast mining environment
- Valid Drivers License
