Job Description
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Assistant Fashion Designer to support our clients design team in bringing collections to life. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of fashion trends excellent design skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Assist the lead designer with the development of seasonal collections from concept to final product.
- Create sketches technical drawings and mood boards.
- Source and select fabrics trims and accessories.
- Prepare and update tech packs and specification sheets.
- Coordinate with suppliers manufacturers and patternmakers.
- Participate in fittings and take notes for adjustments.
- Conduct market and trend research.
- Maintain organized records of all design work and materials.
- Assist in preparing for fashion shows photoshoots and client presentations.
Requirements:
Diploma or degree in Fashion Design or related field.
3 years of experience in a similar role (internship experience considered).
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator Photoshop InDesign).
Knowledge of garment construction textiles and fashion production.
Strong drawing and digital illustration skills.
Excellent communication organization and time-management skills.
Passion for fashion creativity and a strong eye for detail.
