City of Newcastle (CN) is seeking experienced Mechanic to join our Workshop Team based at our Waratah Depot site. This role isnt just about tools and tasks its about shaping your city. Your expertise will help deliver the essential services and safe functional spaces that make our community liveable inclusive and thriving.
The following opportunity is available:
In this role youll be responsible for servicing and maintaining CNs diverse fleet including garbage trucks mobile and fixed plant light vehicles and NHVAS-accredited heavy fleet. Youll work collaboratively to complete inspections and repairs within set timeframes ensuring compliance with OEM standards and NSW/Australian accreditation requirements.
Youll also provide maintenance advice support team communication through toolbox talks and meetings complete required documentation and deliver excellent customer service at the service reception desk.

Remuneration: $82981.04 17.5% annual leave loading yearly payment 11.5% Superannuation per annum for a 38-hour week plus:
