Salary:

Lecturer Grade F: 40497 to 45413 per annum

Senior Lecturer Grade G: 46735 to 55755 per annum

Senior Lecturer Grade H: 57422 to 66537 per annum

The Role

The Marine Offshore and Subsea Technology group is an international leader in research homed within the School of Engineering. Our group has a broad base of expertise from a wide range of engineering and scientific backgrounds.

We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Marine Technology (Shipping and Logistics). This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the leading Engineering Schools in the UK.

We are a world-class research-intensive university delivering high-quality teaching and playing a key role in the economic social and cultural development of the North East of England.

The successful candidate will join a leading team of experts in Marine Offshore and Subsea Technology that spans research across marine hydrodynamics and structures marine resources and renewable energy and sustainable shipping and marine engineering. With a broad base of expertise and working closely with Industry the Group focusses on solving global grand challenges in Marine Technology. This research supports the Schools strong track record of national and international research collaborations with strategic partnerships in key areas tackling global challenges in sustainable energy transport and advanced manufacturing.
