Job Description
Technical Competencies include
- Strong technological background.
- 6 to 8 years experience UNIX Administration
- Hands on experience in Cluster & Volume management.
- Build experience with virtualisation techniques.
- Unix System Administrator to help manage Prod & pre-prod environment servers running Linux Solaris and IBM-AIX operating systems.
- Administration experience (tools command shell development)
- Multiprocess/multithread applications experience
- Application Server experience (Forte BEA weblogic jBoss)
- In-depth knowledge of Solaris Linux Apache and SAN
- systems maintenance experience in a Unix data Center environment
- Strong experience with system management tools logical file systems and client/server environments.
- In-depth hardware configuration knowledge & expertise in Telecom Domain
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Demonstrated initiative customer orientation and team work competencies
- Ability to communicate technical issues with non-technical people
- Knowledge of Oracle RMAN Veritas NetBackup IBM Tivoli Nagios.
