Lehigh University one of the nations premier private research institutions is seeking an experienced and dynamic fundraising leader to serve as Assistant Vice President Colleges and Initiatives (AVP). This position is a Grade: 13 - 40 with an approximate salary range of $134320-$163430 and is subject to change based on experience skills and qualifications.
As the AVP your key responsibilities will include:
Overseeing fundraising programs for Lehighs College of Health College of Education University Research Centers & Institutes Vice Provost Initiatives and corporate foundation and non-profit engagement
Leading and partnering with teams to engage and solicit prospects maximizing philanthropy and meeting strategic objectives
Driving the strategic fundraising direction of key university priorities including educational innovation sponsored research and corporate and non-profit partnerships
Developing executing and evaluating annual plans to maximize donor philanthropy sponsored research and other engagement initiatives
Providing mentorship fostering professional development and creating a collaborative creative and ambitious team environment
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience; Masters Degree preferred
Eight or more years of related work experience
Proven ability to successfully cultivate solicit and close six and seven figure gifts
Proven leadership and strategic thinking abilities in a complex fundraising environment
Demonstrated success in securing major gifts and developing long-term philanthropic partnerships
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to align resources effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups

This position is responsible for driving University-owned vehicles as a routine function therefore a valid Drivers License and a good driving record is required
