Job Description
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including senior developers to design develop and maintain scalable software applications.
- Write clean efficient and maintainable code using languages such as C# Python or Rust.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle - from gathering requirements and system design to development testing deployment and support.
- Conduct or participate in code reviews testing and debugging to ensure high-quality code delivery.
- Contribute to the design and integration of APIs.
- Stay current with emerging technologies frameworks and development best practices.
- Mentor junior team members and take ownership of more complex development initiatives.
- A relevant tertiary qualification is beneficial (Computer Science Software Engineering etc.)
- 3 years experience in software development.
- Strong knowledge / understanding of at least one of the following languages: C# Python React Angular and/ or Rust.
- Understanding of API design and consumption.
- Exposure to or experience using version control systems like Git.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to learn quickly take initiative and adapt to new tools or challenges.
- Familiarity with or experience working in an Agile environment.
