Job Description
Location: JHB or CPT
Reports to: Financial Controller
To support the finance team in executing standard accounting activities and ensuring accuracy in financial records and reporting in line with company policies.
Job Description:
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver accurate and timely outputs for monthly quarterly and annual financial close processes.
- Prepare statutory reports and assist with compliance tasks.
- Collaborate with other finance team members to meet reporting deadlines.
- Support the audit process through provision of requested documentation and information.
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and internal controls.
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and reconciling accounts.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or related field.
- 12 years of accounting experience (internships or entry-level roles considered).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Proficient in Excel and exposure to ERP systems is a plus.
