Job Description
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic for a luxury safari camp based in the Hoedspruit area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified individual to join a high-end hospitality operation in a remote and scenic setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs on a range of vehicles and machinery
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using specialised diagnostic tools
Overhauling and rebuilding engines gearboxes clutches differentials and drive trains
Repairing and maintaining brake systems (hydraulic and air) suspension systems and hydraulic systems
Inspecting and repairing electrical components wiring starters and alternators
Skills and Experience Required:
Recognised qualification as a Diesel Mechanic
Strong understanding of diesel engine systems including combustion fuel injection and emissions control
Proficient in the use of diagnostic equipment and tools
Good working knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Strong commitment to health and safety standards and procedures
