EXPERIENCE: 8 Years in IT with 5 Years Agile/Scrum
COMMENCEMENT: 01 August 2025
LOCATION: Midrand/Menlyn/Rosslyn/Home Office rotation
Qualifications/Experience Required - 8 years experience in IT industry
- IT Degree and or Agile Master Certified 5 years of Scrum/Agile experience or equivalent qualifications
- Experience in the automotive industry advantageous
- Relevant Agile Master certification would be advantageous
Essential Skills Requirements - Experience in working with Agile tools such as Jira Confluence Github Bitbucket
- Facilitating Agile Practices: Ensuring that the team adheres to Agile principles and practices facilitating meetings such as daily stand-ups sprint planning reviews and retrospectives
- Supporting the Team: Assisting the team in removing impediments to progress fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring effective communication
- Coaching and Mentoring: Guiding the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and principles to deliver high-quality products
- Stakeholder Liaison: Acting as a bridge between the team and stakeholders ensuring clear communication and managing expectations
- Continuous Improvement: Promoting a culture of continuous improvement helping the team to identify and implement process enhancements
- Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter

Role & Responsibilities - Coach team members. The Agile Master makes sure team members are well trained and understand the Agile process
- Host Agile Ceremonies
- Assist the Product Owner and Sub-Product Owners with the backlog
- Remove roadblocks for the team
- Guides the team on the use and application of Agile/Scrum methodologies and practices
- Aligns within bigger teams to ensure good collaboration and value adding outcomes
- Collaborates with Product Owners and colleagues across multiple sites/locations
- Regularly presents team delivery to product owners
- Gives structure to workshops and meetings to lead and facilitate the teams Agile way of working.
- This includes facilitating discussion decision-making and conflict resolution
- Assesses the agile maturity of the team and organisation and coaches the team to higher levels of maturity at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team/projects
- Assists with internal and external communication and improving transparency.
- Demonstrates the status / performance of the team as key element
- Supports the Product Owner with grooming processes product backlog management and sprint refinement
- Assists with project- and team coordination tasks when required
- Regularly update and improve product confluence pages & documentation within the Product
