Job Description

Role: Senior Sales Specialist (Digital Advertising)
Type: Full-time Independent Contractor
Location: Fully remote South Africa based

About the Company

Our U.S client is a PR and digital marketing agency helping businesses grow through paid media including PPC social and programmatic advertising. As part of expansion they are building their first dedicated outbound sales team.

This is a senior individual contributor role with potential to grow into a Sales Manager position based on performance

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Specialist to lead outbound sales efforts and independently build a sales strategy for our digital advertising products. You will be responsible for identifying engaging and closing deals with small to mid-sized businesses with an emphasis on quota performance and long-term pipeline growth. There is potential for this role to grow into a leadership position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage an outbound sales pipeline using tools like Apollo LinkedIn Sales Navigator and cold email

  • Sell digital advertising products: PPC display ads social media advertising and programmatic media

  • Book and lead discovery calls with qualified leads

  • Represent C2 Communications on client-facing calls with strong polished communication

  • Maintain CRM hygiene and track deal flow

  • Collaborate with internal content and service delivery teams

  • Report on weekly sales activity conversion rates and closed deals

  • Independently build and refine the sales strategy for digital products

  • Manage and support government contracts and accounts where applicable

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in sales and marketing

  • Proven track record in outbound B2B sales (digital marketing/advertising preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of digital advertising (PPC display social media ads)

  • Experience managing government clients or contracts preferred

  • Fluent in English with strong writing and client-ready communication skills

  • Familiarity with sales tools such as Apollo LinkedIn Sales Navigator and CRM systems

  • Independent proactive and capable of working with minimal supervision
