The Role
We are delighted to be seeking a motivated individual to join our project in the School of Computing at Newcastle. The aim of the project is to develop digital innovations for patient-centric microsampling. As part of the technical development you will be working closely with a consortium of academic and industry partners across the Europe and US (including multinational pharmaceutical companies such as Pfizer Eli Lilly and GSK) to ensure the delivery of data and digital solutions for collecting and analysing small-volume blood samples.
You will research and design advanced machine learning AI and statistical methods to process and analyse data generated from microsampling which may encompass concentrations of analytes demographic information among others.
You will be expected to take the lead on addressing the following project objectives:
We are seeking a passionate highly motivated individual who has demonstrable communication skills and has the ability to produce high quality academic and experimental outputs under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI). You should have excellent interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building meaningful working relationships with our internal and external stakeholders.
