Job Description
Hire Resolves Client is urgently looking for a Instrumentation Mechanician (Underground) role open at a Mine in the North West!
Responsibilities:
- Provide subject matter expertise and technical support to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of C&I operations.
- Install maintain and troubleshoot instrumentation networks and control systems at both hardware and software levels.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance ensuring compliance with engineering standards and OEM specifications.
- Plan and coordinate maintenance activities shutdowns and equipment availability to meet production targets.
- Conduct risk assessments maintain housekeeping standards and mentor apprentices while ensuring compliance with safety and operational procedures.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Instrumentation Mechanician Trade Certificate
- N3 Certificate
- 4 years experience post trade in an underground mining environment is essential.
- Law and Standards / Legal Liability Certificate will be advantageous
