About the Valterra Platinum Bursary Opportunity
Our bursary covers comprehensive support to help you succeed in your studies and career. If you are selected you will receive:

Qualifications :
Qualifications supported under this bursary
- Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering (BEng Electrical Engineering)
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Electrical Engineering (BSc (Eng) Electrical Engineering)
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be currently enrolled full-time for a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering (BEng Electrical Engineering) OR; Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Electrical Engineering (BSc (Eng) Electrical Engineering) at a recognised South African university.
- Be in your second third or fourth year of study.
- Demonstrate academic excellence and commitment to your field of study with a minimum final overall academic average of 65%.

- CV
- A full academic transcript
- A copy of your South African Identity Document
- Proof of Address (Either a municipal account OR a letter from a local tribal authority)

Preference for our bursary programme will be given to learners from communities in and around our operations in line with our commitment to local socio-economic development. Our South African processing operations are in Rustenburg in the North West Province and in Polokwane in the Limpopo Province. Our mines are located in Thabazimbi Burgersfort and Mokopane in the Limpopo Province.
