Job Purpose
To apply specialisation within SAP projects and technical expertise (under minimal Supervision ) that meets customer business needs by interacting with stakeholders to define requirements and priorities. Performs systems analysis solution design develop supports and maintains SAP system.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and develop solutions using SAP ABAP SAP FIORI SAP UI5 NODEJS and/or SAP ABAP Cloud Business Application Studio and other associated development technologies available within the SAP Development and SAP Cloud Application Development suites.
- To have practical understanding of Agile practices and tooling such as Jira and Confluence.
- Participate in Program Increment (PI) and Sprint planning ceremonies.
- To have the ability to conduct unit E2E and Regression testing in the platforms mentioned above as well as ensuring all technical specifications are documented in detail.
- Liaise with the business / functional consultants and conduct JAD sessions to understand their requirements in order to inform solution designs.
- Maintaining and sharing team knowledge.
- Continually develop core skills cross-functional expertise and business knowledge.
- Keep up to date on SAP and Nedbank strategy.
- Takes a disciplined approach and works effectively towards clear objectives and prioritises.
- Analyses and appropriately judges the pros cons opportunities and risks of a problem.
- Uses information from different sources to aid in problem solving.
- Uses and share information from different sources to aid in problem solving.

Technical Knowledge
- ABAP
- SAP ODATA Services
- SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) - Cloud Foundry would be beneficial
- SAP FIORI/WEBIDE
- Business application Studio (BAS)
- SAP ABAP Cloud and / or NodeJS
- Advantageous - Knowledge and experience in SAP Cloud Platform Integration
- API Management Functional / Development knowledge in HCM / FI Functional areas
Essential Qualifications - NQF Level
- Professional Qualifications/Honours Degree
- Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
Preferred Qualification
Bcom/IS/IT ENG/BSc/Com Science related degree
Essential Certifications
Preferred relevant SAP module certification
Minimum Experience Level
3 - 5 years SAP Technical experience
