Job Description
- Manage and improve the internal planning and forecasting process
- Manage import shipments and make sure the delivery schedule to the warehouses is met on time
- Coordinate with the regional teams on RFQ shipping documents production schedules and shipping plans.
- Maintain and create orders in systems and proceed with POs with the regional teams.
- Closely coordinate with forwarders and vendors to arrange timely and effective shipments.
- Proceed with customs clearance for all the imported shipments.
- Work with forwarding agents/carriers on bookings and other logistics-related matters
- Prepare Tax and Duty payment requests and submit to the Finance team for advance tax claims.
- Closely follow up with the regional teams the forwarder and the customer regarding payment status.
- Manage and control logistics costs according to the tariff.
- Track ETA and get Arrival Notice from carriers/forwarders for customs clearance.
- Work with the warehouse on damaged issues and control the delivery plan.
- Claim suppliers/ relevant parties for damaged goods if the imported goods have any problems.
- Make monthly payment claims for the logistics vendors and suppliers.
- Handle other tasks assigned by the manager.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or related field.
Experience:
- at least 4 years in procurement/purchasing preferably in the printing industry.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems
Skills:
- Strong negotiation analytical and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis.
- Good communication and stakeholder management.
