Job Description
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- 25 years investment management industry experience preferably in a role with exposure to asset management and or fund operations
- Client relationship management experience in the investment management industry
- Financial market knowledge (instruments and products)
- Fund accounting experience or exposure
- Uses initiative is proactive and possesses problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Thinks in a structured way and can document processes
- Pays attention to detail
- Strong numeric and analytical ability
- Advanced MS Excel
Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Administration
- Portfolio Implementation and transition management
- Portfolio compliance oversight
- Liaise professionally with clients
- Be effective and efficient at query management and resolution
- Liaise with back office team external client Managers PMs performance & attribution dealing implementations finance fund operations
- Perform ongoing KYC of clients
- Effective liaison with backoffice administrators
- Provide information/support to Portfolio Managers
- Load daily trades on Investment system
- Update of CRM system
- Review monthly quarterly and yearly client reports
- Update the process documentation formulate new system documentation for new process
- Contribute to ad hoc projects aimed at streamlining processes
- Knowledge of Charles River and Hiport and other applicable trading and order management systems
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
