Job Description
Requirements:
- Relevant diploma or degree in IT or vendor related certifications
- Ubuntu or similar Linux operating systems
- Experience with Python or similar languages
- Experiencing with deploying Django or web frameworks
- Experience with MySQL or Postgres
- Understanding of frontend technologies such as JavaScript HTML5 and CSS3
- An understanding of deployment tools such as Chef and/or Ansible is advantageous
- An understanding of applications such as Nginx Gunicorn Supervisor is also advantageous
- Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems servers and environments
- Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Use of queuing technologies such as RabbitMQ
- Experience and knowledge of Radius (AAA)
- Proficiency with sourcecontrol tools (GitHub Bitbucket etc.)
- Familiar with monitoring systems/tools e.g. Netdata/Zabbix/Iris
- Experience in engaging with different engineering teams
- Experience in working with multicultured employees
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to take ownership of projects and initiatives with minimal supervision
- Ability to work under pressure and is stress tolerant
- Project management experience
- Valid driver license and own transport
