Job Description
Data Architecture Design:
Create and manage the data warehouse architecture including data modeling data cleansing and data transformation processes to ensure data quality and consistency.
BI Solution Design:
Define and design BI solutions based on business requirements considering data sources reporting needs and visualization requirements.
Technical Implementation:
Select and implement appropriate BI tools and platforms including data extraction transformation and loading (ETL) processes to build the BI infrastructure.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with business users and technical teams to gather requirements translate them into technical specifications and manage expectations.
Data Governance:
Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure data accuracy security and compliance.
Performance Optimization:
Monitor and optimize BI systems for performance scalability and reliability.
Reporting and Visualization:
Develop dashboards and reports using BI tools to present insights and key performance indicators (KPIs) to decisionmakers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Expertise:
Strong understanding of database technologies (relational and dimensional) data warehousing concepts ETL processes and data modeling.
BI Tool Proficiency:
Expertise in popular BI tools like Power BI Tableau Qlik or Microstrategy.
Programming Skills:
Familiarity with programming languages like SQL Python or Java for data manipulation and analysis.
Business Acumen:
Ability to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
Communication Skills:
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical skills to identify data patterns trends and insights.
