Job Description
BIOVAC is one of the leading sterile vaccine manufacturers rooted in Africa with our core purpose being to protect life. We are looking to hire a dynamic passionate confident proactive and meticulous Commercial Analyst to join a goal-oriented team.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:
- Relevant bachelors degree in marketing/ supply chain/Logistics
- Knowledge in Excel Tableau Data Analytics Tools
- Recognition is given to Prior Learning and practical experience
NECESSARY EXPERIENCE & INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE:
- At least 5 years experience in Planning within a Commercial environment.
- Working knowledge of data analysis forecasting Business Intelligence and data visualization tools (i.e. QlikView) and ability to develop actionable insights from data.
- Previous experience on ERP System (i.e. SAP)
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Report writing and information lead for Commercial Department (Supply Sales New Products)
- Building database and sharing actionable insights for customer relationship management pricing strategy development commercial reporting and analysis
- Responsible for collecting analysing and interpreting sales and market data to provide insights into business performance and trends.
- Develop and Compile Monthly Commercial Dashboards (Supply and Sales)
- Develop interactive dashboards using excel SAP Tableau QlikView as per department requirements.
- Perform daily weekly and monthly reviews on current processes using operational metrics and reports.
- Compile weekly/ monthly inventory holding sales analysis release tracker JHB warehouse capacity and inbound/outbound shipments.
- Continuously review and ensure commercial reports are in adherence with department and business requirements.
- Identify relevant market-related data and business intelligence tools that can be incorporated into current practices to cut costs and/or improve processes.
Market Research:
- Conduct market research on the existing product portfolio possible new products pipeline.
- Generate reports on findings through statistical analysis and other relevant business intelligence tools as required to provide insights and actionable recommendations.
- Assess the competitive landscape analyse market data to identify opportunities and threats.
- Provide insights on growing and expanding the existing product portfolio through research and analysis of market requirements developments and trends within the industry.
- Improve and maintain product database for new and existing products.
- Continuously review and analyse commercial strategies for new and existing products.
