Bookkeeping up to balance sheet
Maintain accurate books on accounts payable and receivable payroll and daily financial entries for multiple properties.
Process rent rolls tenant receipts municipal accounts and reconciliations.
Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements.
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
Manage supplier invoices payments and ensure proper allocations.
Monitor arrears and issue statements and reminders to tenants.
Capture and track utility readings and ensure correct billing.
Assist with VAT submissions and ensure SARS compliance.
Maintain lease and property documentation records.
Liaise with property managers tenants suppliers and auditors.
Grade 12
Finance qualification preferred
Minimum 2 years experience in a bookkeeping role gained in the property industry.
Experience with bookkeeping up to Balance sheet
Proficient in property management and accounting software with preference given to WeConnectU experience
Knowledge of South African property legislation rental income accounting and VAT.
Education
Grade 12 Finance qualification preferred
Full Time
