Responsibilities:
- Lead mentor and develop a multi-disciplinary technical team fostering a culture of collaboration high performance and continuous improvement in line with companyvalues.
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of IT services and systems ensuring projects are completed on time within budget (approx. R10 million) and to the highest quality standards using agile methodologies (e.g. KANBAN Scrum) and robust IT governance.
- Drive strategic business initiatives by translating stakeholder requirements into actionable technical solutions aligning with company architecture and technology roadmaps.
- Manage financial aspects including budget planning monitoring procurement and software license compliance ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost-effective execution.
- Champion the adoption and maturation of Agile and DevOps practices facilitating SCRUM rituals and driving automation and the use of AI/ML to optimize operations and mitigate risks.
- Cultivate and maintain strong trusted relationships with product owners key stakeholders executive sponsors and strategic suppliers to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
- Ensure robust process management including risk identification solution design reviews adherence to QA practices incident management and maintenance of system operations manuals.
- Lead performance management career development planning recruitment and onboarding for the team ensuring alignment with company vision and values.
