Job Description
This hybrid role in Stellenbosch offers the opportunity to work on fibre signal acquisition systems that manage bandwidth intelligently and operate with minimal user interaction. Youll help shape platforms that sit at the heart of next-generation telecommunications.
Work end-to-end across the full software development lifecycle
Build high-performance scalable systems used across the telecoms industry
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and domain experts
Exposure to a wide tech stack and modern Agile/Scrum methodologies
Play a key role in real-world innovation with measurable impact
Continuous learning hands-on problem-solving and room to grow
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in C/C or GoLang
Strong Linux skills and shell scripting
Confident using Git and modern version control
Solid understanding of system architecture & integration
Strong communicator and team player
Bonus skills: Distributed systems Java GRPC Thrift P4 VHDL/FPGA Grafana
Qualification:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Electronic Engineering
Masters degree and/or 5 years experience is beneficial
