Job Description
The credit & product owner role is a role that includes the end-to-end ownership of the design and develop of the investment backed lending proposition. The product is a loan that is secured by various investments such as a stock portfolio cash balances unit trusts etc.
A significant amount of time with be spent on:
Designing the proposition Ensuring IT vendors build the required systems Designing operational processes to manage the product. Managing a few internal resources and liaising with a range of contractors and vendors.
Requirements:
Take responsibility for managing the definition development and delivery of a significant product or service within the product development and engineering program ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
Build complex frameworks to fully assess the scope and context of short-term and long-term business needs.
Lead the development presentation and continuous review of project business cases; make evidence-based recommendations on the initiation and termination of projects.
Lead the implementation of the innovation road map ensuring the right resources are in place to execute on the innovation strategy across the various stages of the pipeline.
Develop innovative solutions by integrating and analyzing complex and diverse information sources.
Lead development of new innovations or support business units and teams in new product and service initiatives acting as a methodology expert and facilitator for the most-critical innovation teams across the company.
Define the execution plan to disseminate innovative capabilities across the businesses helping people develop these competencies and enabling them to innovate through solutions such as idea generation platforms jam sessions and hackathons.
Initiate and lead the governance and delivery of a program or group of significant projects within a function using an appropriate project management methodology to give assurance that intended outcomes are identified and achieved.
Act as subject matter expert in an area of technology policy regulation or operational management for the team and beyond in the function. Maintain external accreditations and in-depth understanding of current and emerging technologies external regulation and industry best practices through continuing professional development attending conferences and reading specialist media.
Manage a medium-sized financial product development or specialist team and/or manage the definition development and delivery of significant financial products ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
