Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Design and select appropriate pumps for a variety of industrial and infrastructure applications.
Lead commissioning diagnostics and root cause analysis (RCA) of pump and rotating equipment failures.
Optimize system performance and energy efficiency through technical evaluations and field assessments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including process piping and electrical engineers.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards (e.g. API 610 ISO 13709 ANSI).
Prepare technical documentation including datasheets specifications and reports.
Interface with vendors for technical evaluations and procurement support.
Provide mentorship to junior engineers and technical support to operations and maintenance teams.
Requirements
Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEng or BSc).
8 10 years of mechanical engineering experience with a strong focus on pump systems.
In-depth knowledge of various pump types (centrifugal positive displacement multistage etc.).
Familiarity with hydraulic calculations and fluid system integration.
Experience with pump modeling and selection software (e.g. Pump-FLO AFT Fathom).
Working knowledge of AutoCAD SolidWorks and/or CAESAR II.
Professional certification (e.g. PE CEng) is a plus.
Ability to work independently and meet tight project deadlines.
