Job Description
Were looking for anIntermediate to Senior Python Developer to join our team in Pretoria. If you have strong backend development skills and enjoy working in a collaborative environment this could be the right opportunity for you.
Duties & Responsibilities
Education:Relevant Degree or Diploma in Computer Science/Engineering or related field preferred
Technical Requirements:
- Strong proficiency inCore Pythonprogramming
- Experience withgRPCframework for building high-performance APIs
- Expertise in database management usingSQLAlchemy (Alchemy)and schema migrations withAlembic
OR - Professional experience developing applications usingPython with Djangoframework (full-stack or backend specialization)
Additional Preferred Skills:
- Solid understanding of software design patterns and architectural principles
- Experience with RESTful API development and integration
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker) is advantageous
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP) is a plus
- Version control using Git in a collaborative environment
