Duties & Responsibilities
Requirements:
- 10 years of professional full-stack development experience
- Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript Angular and
- 2 to 6 years leadership experience
- Experience building scalable backend systems and distributed architectures
- Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud platforms
- Mobile app experience with Ionic/Cordova or native frameworks
- Proven experience leading or mentoring development teams
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent practical experience
- Frontend: Angular (v17) Ionic/Cordova HTML5 CSS3 TypeScript
- Backend: Redis MongoDB PostgreSQL Golang (a plus)
- Infrastructure: AWS (EKS EC2 IAM S3) Kubernetes Terraform Linux
- Messaging & Architecture: RabbitMQ distributed systems
- DevOps & Monitoring: CI/CD pipelines OpenSearch
- AI/ML (Bonus): OpenAI APIs LangChain vector databases prompt engineering RAG
Responsibilities:
- Architect develop and maintain full-stack applications (web backend mobile)
- Lead a small engineering team with mentoring code reviews and technical guidance 2
- Collaborate with product managers and founders on feature planning and architecture
- Drive high standards in code quality testing and CI/CD
- Oversee cloud infrastructure and ensure production reliability and performance
- Translate business needs into scalable user-friendly solutions
- Assist in hiring onboarding and team growth
- Continuously improve processes codebases and engineering culture
- Contribute to incident response and production support as needed
