Our client in the engineering sector is seeking a recent graduate to join their team for a 12-month Reception/Admin internship based in Boksburg. The successful candidate will support the front desk by managing switchboard operations and providing essential administrative assistance throughout the office gaining practical experience in a dynamic work environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage switchboard and direct calls professionally and efficiently.
- Greet and assist visitors ensuring a welcoming front desk environment.
- Provide administrative support including filing data entry and document management.
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings where needed.
- Support various departments with ad-hoc administrative tasks as required.
- Maintain office supplies and ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable.
Requirements:- Matric essential
- Completed a tertiary qualification in Administration Business or a relevant field.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
- Must reside within the Ekurhuleni district.
