Saldanha Bay Western Cape
R360 000.00 CTC per annum
Permanent Full-Time
Are you a detail-driven finance professional with a solid grasp of cost accounting in a manufacturing or industrial setting A well-established company located in the beautiful coastal town of Saldanha Bay is looking for a Cost Accountant to join their operations team and help drive profitability and efficiency through smart financial oversight.
What Youll Do:
- Maintain and analyse standard costs and update cost records regularly
- Monitor and report on production costs variances and margins
- Conduct cost analysis and support budget processes
- Reconcile inventory records and manage costing of raw materials and finished goods
- Assist with monthly management reports and financial planning
- Collaborate with operational teams to provide cost insights that support decision-making
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company financial procedures
- National Diploma or BCom in Accounting Cost & Management Accounting or similar
- 24 years experience in a cost accounting role (manufacturing/production environment preferred)
- Strong Excel skills; ERP experience beneficial (Syspro SAP or similar)
- Hands-on analytical and solutions-oriented with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across departments
- Work in a supportive team environment with real growth potential
