Job Description
Hire Resolves client is a well-established and rapidly growing firm seeking a highly skilled Senior Audit Professional to join their dynamic team in Cape Town. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced auditor to lead engagements mentor junior staff and play a strategic role in delivering high-quality audit solutions to a diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage full-cycle audit engagements across various industries
Supervise train and mentor audit teams to ensure effective performance
Review and evaluate internal control systems and recommend improvements
Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS/GAAP
Communicate audit findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders
Stay current with regulatory changes and ensure audit compliance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver value-added insights
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field (Honors or Masters advantageous)
Professional certification such as CA(SA) CPA ACCA or equivalent
5 years of audit experience preferably in a Big 4 or mid-tier firm
Strong knowledge of IFRS auditing standards and risk-based auditing
Excellent communication leadership and analytical skills
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
