Description
Are you an experienced logistics professional ready to lead a fast-paced supply chain team in the meat processing and cold storage industry Were seeking a proactive and strategic Logistics Supervisor to oversee warehouse operations transportation logistics inventory control and regulatory compliance in Cape Town.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end logistics operations across warehousing dispatch and transportation.
Oversee inventory control audits and demand forecasting.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely cost-effective deliveries.
Ensure compliance with health safety and transport regulations (local and international).
Monitor logistics KPIs and drive cost savings and process improvements.
Lead and mentor a team of logistics staff drivers and coordinators.
Implement and manage logistics systems (WMS/TMS/ERP) to optimize efficiency.
Support customer service delivery through effective logistics execution.
Requirements:
57 years experience in logistics or supply chain management with 3 years in a supervisory role.
Diploma or Bachelors degree in Logistics Supply Chain or Business Administration.
Strong leadership problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Proficient in logistics software inventory systems and route optimization tools.
In-depth knowledge of food manufacturing or cold storage logistics is advantageous.
Valid drivers license and willingness to travel between sites as required.
