Job Description
Job Title: IT Intern
Company: Water Tower Group
Contract Details: Full time 40 hours per week
Job Summary:
As an IT Intern at Water Tower Group you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced and dynamic field of information technology. You will work closely with our IT team to support the companys technology needs and contribute to various projects and initiatives. This is a full-time internship offering 40 hours per week and is perfect for someone looking to kick-start their career in the IT industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation configuration and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by employees.
- Provide technical support for computer systems including printers phones and other peripherals.
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of network and server infrastructure.
- Collaborate with the IT team to identify and implement process improvements.
- Conduct research on new technologies and make recommendations for their implementation.
- Help maintain inventory and asset management records.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas and suggestions.
- Complete assigned projects and tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware software and networking.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Availability to work full-time for the duration of the internship.
