**Please Note: The role can be hybrid 2 days working from home and 3 days in the office but the client is also open to someone based remotely if they have the right experience.
Salary: Open and negotiable depending on the years of experience level and current salary and salary expectations.
Our client based in Centurion is looking for a talented and passionate Systems Architect.
The role is looking for a Systems architect designs implements and manages the structure of complex IT systems ensuring they align with business needs and are scalable secure and efficient.
They analyze business requirements identify suitable technologies and guide the implementation process often collaborating with various teams and stakeholders.
Experience in telemetry is highly preferable as well as experience in Python SQL ScienceLogic Rebasoft or Motadata.

- Design and Architecture: Defining the overall structure of IT systems including hardware software networking and data storage components
- Technology Selection: Identifying and evaluating appropriate technologies to meet business requirements and ensure optimal system performance
- Integration: Ensuring that different system components and technologies work seamlessly together
- Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Continuously monitoring system performance and implementing improvements to ensure efficiency and reliability
- Collaboration and Communication: Working closely with various teams including development operations and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective implementation
- Documentation: Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation of the system architecture design decisions and implementation details
- Security: Incorporating security considerations into the system design and ensuring adherence to security standards and best practices
- Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing long-term strategic goals for the evolution of the IT infrastructure
- Cost Analysis: Evaluating the cost implications of different architectural options and ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Emerging Technologies: Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and identifying opportunities to leverage them to improve the organizations IT systems
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of IT infrastructure cloud technologies networking security and various software and hardware components
- Architectural Design Skills: Proficiency in using architectural design tools and methodologies (e.g. UML TOGAF)
- Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex problems identify root causes and develop effective solutions
- Communication and Collaboration Skills: Ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences and collaborate with diverse teams
- Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects prioritize tasks and ensure timely and efficient delivery
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
- Typically 8-10 years of relevant experience in IT with a focus on systems architecture
