Job Description
As an Invoice Clerk you will responsible for the following:
- Prepare and process accurate customer invoices in line with billing schedules
- Verify and reconcile invoice data with contracts purchase orders and service records
- Handle invoice queries from clients and internal departments in a professional manner
- Maintain up-to-date records of billing transactions and ensure the timely delivery of invoices
- Assist with accounts receivable functions as required
- Ensure compliance with company billing policies and accounting standards
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Minimum of 23 years experience in an invoicing or billing role
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Experience working with accounting software or ERP systems (e.g. Sage SAP or similar)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- A finance or accounting-related qualification will be advantageous
