Job Description
Are you a highly skilled interior designer or architectural technologist with expert-level Revit experience and a passion for precision coordination and innovation ARRCC is seeking a Revit Technician to join our dynamic team and play a key role in the delivery of beautifully detailed technically excellent interior architecture projects across a range of local and global developments.
Please note - this role is only open to candidates currently residing in South Africa.
About the Role
As a Revit Technician you will manage the production of interior design and architectural drawings for projects of varying complexity. This includes full architectural solutions in collaboration with internal architects and interior designers. Youll play a vital role in advancing digital best practices mentoring junior team members and ensuring high standards of modelling detailing and documentation are met across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality documentation across multiple concurrent projects with minimal supervision.
Produce accurate layouts sections elevations custom furniture details and joinery shop drawings.
Custom model furniture lighting and textured objects aligned with presentation and design intent.
Manage and collaborate on shared Revit & Lumion models with SAOTA and IA teams.
Guide team members on efficient BIM workflows Revit Central File navigation and model setup.
Lead the monthly audit publishing and development of the Revit Furniture Library and seamless texture libraries.
Convert and import external formats (MAX/OBJ/SAT/DWG) into Revit-compatible content.
Assist with electrical lighting artwork and window treatment coordination drawings.
Provide high-quality 3D views and render preparation using Lumion and post-production software like Photoshop or Gimp.
Ensure full compliance with ARRCCs documentation and file management systems and contribute to their ongoing improvement.
Support training mentorship and skills development within the technical team.
Essential Skills & Criteria
BTech in Architectural Technology or National Diploma in Interior Design.
Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar Revit-based technical role.
Advanced proficiency in Revit Lumion and AutoCAD.
Strong knowledge of construction methods materials and custom furniture detailing.
Skilled in Microsoft Office with strong documentation and communication capabilities.
Detail-oriented accurate and efficient under pressure.
Strong sense of ownership proactive attitude and the ability to manage priorities autonomously.
Excellent collaboration problem-solving and judgement skills.
Demonstrated experience mentoring junior staff and promoting technical excellence across a team.
