RPO Recruitment is actively seeking a highly skilled Hydraulics Engineering Manager to join our clients team in Kempton Park. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineering professional to lead a team in the design maintenance and improvement of hydraulic systems used across various industrial applications. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the hydraulics engineering department ensuring high performance and continuous improvement
- Oversee the design development and implementation of hydraulic systems for new and existing machinery
- Conduct technical assessments and resolve hydraulic-related issues across production and maintenance teams
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations in all hydraulic systems
- Collaborate with procurement production and maintenance teams to streamline engineering processes
- Mentor and develop junior engineers and technicians within the hydraulics department
- Manage project timelines budgets and deliverables related to hydraulic systems
- Review and approve engineering drawings specifications and documentation
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Mechatronics or a related field
- Proven experience (5 years) in hydraulic system design maintenance and project management
- Strong leadership skills with prior experience managing engineering teams
- In-depth knowledge of hydraulic components circuits and troubleshooting methods
- Familiarity with CAD software and hydraulic modeling tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to engineering excellence and safety standards
