Our client based in Centurion is urgently seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter and Turner with strong CNC programming knowledge. The ideal candidate should have experience working with steel components lathes and be familiar with general machine maintenance. This is a full-time in-house position suited to someone with a passion for precision and technical work.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Operating and maintaining conventional and CNC machinery
Performing CNC programming for lathes and milling machines
Working with steel components and parts
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues on equipment
Performing general preventive and corrective maintenance on machines
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
Ensuring work is completed accurately and timeously
How to setup
Desired Experience & Qualification
Requirements:
Trade Test Certificate: Fitter and Turner (advantageous)
Proven experience in steelwork (lathe and turning operations)
CNC programming experience is essential
Good mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
Must reside in or near the Centurion area
A solid track record of employment with traceable references
Package & Remuneration
R18 500 - R 27 000 depending on Exp
