Description

Role Purpose

The role of the Programme Management Office Lead is to manage and coordinate Terminal improvement processes governance and reporting to the SAPREF Leadership Team. For the development of the integrated Island View Terminal (IVT) improvement programmes.

Key Accountabilities/Objectives:

  • Responsible for supporting the Terminal improvement programmes and ensuring the successful delivery of the design and execution of the identified scope ensuring timeliness and right levels of quality.
  • Develop document and analyze materials to support project delivery and drive integrated value delivery across all relevant businesses and functional teams (digital HSSE asset integrity people & culture finance) in the value chain and through facilitation of the improvement goals and objectives.
  • Champion of continuous improvement philosophy through systematic and behavioral initiatives.
  • Coordinate processes and systems (e.g. interface ways of working) to enhance value across Terminal operations and other shareholder improvement initiatives.
  • Support the development and delivery for key Terminal improvement initiatives that require senior leadership support both physical and digital.
  • Identify and advocate opportunities to improve integrated delivery across interfaces with other shareholders and stakeholder initiatives.
  • Own operational management and tracking of the workstream related activities such as managing Teams sites; planner boards; scheduling key business meetings and discussions; tracking data status; preparing content for workstream governance forums; and circulation of key discussion points.
  • Project manage integrated decision making workstreams including summarizing key decisions; risks; dependencies and assumptions.
  • Provide project analytics to support development and decision making.
  • Adhere to the respective data privacy and security related requirements as a part of this role.


Requirements

Minimum Qualifications Years of Work Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent Engineering bachelors degree.
  • Minimum of 10 years Petrochemical or Heavy Industry experience.
  • A broad knowledge base of heavy industry operations with clear experiences that cover Managerial HSSE Operations Asset Integrity Assurance and other related.
  • Strong collaborative One Team approach with relentless drive to maximize integrated shareholder value.
  • Strong PowerPoint analytic and organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to synthesize complex topics into key messages and communicate to different audiences including executive level leadership.

Skills:

  • Proven quality and people management skills to be able to identify opportunities for improvement adherence to appropriate practices or standards and credibility to influence performance.
  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills to motivate understand and overcome barriers to change; to inspire the leadership team and multi-disciplinary teams that are required to focus and deliver across functional boundaries. Specifically to deliver an effective performance improvement system for the Terminal.
  • Proven experience in improvement programmes and in field application. Able to translate initiatives into practical measures in a range of disciplines and cross-section of people.
  • Excellent communication skills written spoken and presentations. Ability to train across all SAPREF functions and run multi-functional teams to deliver the business improvement programs.
  • Strong administrator auditing skills and organisational/project management skills.
