Join a respected private higher education institution as a Lecturer teaching a variety of engineering-related modules.
Use your expertise to guide student success shape academic content and foster industry links.
Minimum Requirements:
Master of Engineering (NQF Level 9) (Civil Engineering)
2 or more years of lecturing experience
Knowledge of South African higher education regulatory frameworks
Strong organisational communication and data analysis skills
Experience with academic material development and student tracking
Competent in computer literacy and detail-focused
Demonstrated teaching and learning expertise
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lecture across various engineering-related modules
Mark assessments provide feedback and moderate where required
Support at-risk students and implement academic interventions
Participate in programme development and accreditation
Assist with registration consultations and disciplinary processes
Contribute to academic research and scholarship
Build and maintain professional industry relationships
Coordinate student societies and the engineering learning centre
Support lecturer development through peer reviews workshops and consultations
