City of Newcastle is seeking an engaging and creative Environmental Education Officer to lead and deliver engaging biodiversity programs that promote environmental stewardship of our natural environment across Newcastle.
As the Environmental Education Officer you will be responsible for developing delivering and evaluating environmental education initiatives behaviour change programs and community engagement activities to support the environmental strategies and service level delivery of our Environmental Assets Team aligning with CNs strategic priorities and meeting the needs of the community.
Through the fostering of productive relationships with community organisations educational facilities agencies and internal teams the Environmental Education Officer will deliver high quality environmental education programs to enable and support the community to meaningfully contribute to conservation urban forest biodiversity and natural asset management projects.

Remuneration: $95192.44 17.5% annual leave loading yearly payment 12% Superannuation per annum for a 35-hour week
