Job Description
We are seeking a CAD Technician for a permanent role based in East London Eastern Cape.
Duties & Responsibilities
- 10 years relevant work experience
- Computer literate on AutoCad & MS Office
- Fluency in English and valid drivers
- Physical attributes to access project sites
The successful applicant would be responsible for but not limited to:
- Provide CAD drawing services ability to use AutoCAD essential
- Prepare civil and structural engineering drawings as instructed by superiors
- Provide printing binding plotting and scanning services
- Print A4 & A3 pages and drawings as directed by superior
- Bind documents as directed by superior using a spiral binder
- Plot A4 to A0 sized drawings using the plotter
- Scan drawings using the A0 scanner
- Prepare and maintain drawing and scanning registers
- Provide site data collection & monitoring services
- Collect site data and samples for projects as instructed by superiors
- Assist with site surveys as instructed by superiors
- Deliver documents and drawings to site
- Monitor & report back on progress of works on site
- On-site inspection of tests & works
