Position Number: S72010
This position is a Grade: 8 - 37.5 with an approximate salary range of $43940 - $52740 and is subject to change based on experience skills and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide executive level support for the Vice President for Equity & Community and administrative support for the Deputy Vice President for Equity & Community and the OIEB Administrative Director
Manage plan direct and implement diverse and complex activities on the VPECs behalf with high-ranking individuals both internal and external to the office
Manages and maintains electronic calendar for the Vice President and Deputy Vice President
Organizes procures and summarizes all records required for attendance and participation for VPEC and DVPEC
Office administration and support services
Greet and assist visitors screen and direct telephone calls receive and process office mail
Responsible for the planning and execution of all details associated with events hosted by the Vice President
Plans event design protocol cost and budget management menu planning logistical coordination and facility use. Prepare recommendations regarding the details for the event. The position will have the responsibility of researching all details associated with any events and provide recommendations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma in Secretarial Science Business a related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience
Three to five years of related work experience
Executive secretarial experience supporting a senior executive preferably a chief executive officer
Higher education or nonprofit experience helpful
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Discretion in handling confidential information
Experience with calendar management software and travel coordination
