An Au pair in America offers numerous benefits including cultural exchange personal and professional development and financial pairs gain international work experience improve their English and experience American culture while living with a host family. They also receive a weekly stipend a private room and board and a contribution towards educational courses.
The Au pair is considered as a full member of the family during the period of the Au pair stay. As such he or she helps the family with childcare and can be asked to assume some light household return the host family provides free board and lodging as well as pocket money.
Au Pair Duties:
Supervising children during playtime and activities.
Preparing meals and snacks for the children.
Helping with homework and school projects.
Taking children to and from school appointments and extracurricular activities.
Ensuring childrens safety and well-being.
Tidying up childrens rooms and play areas.
Doing childrens laundry.
Cleaning up after children in shared spaces like the kitchen.
Requirements:
Grade: 12 and upwards.
Must be 18 years to 25 years old.
Single/traveling solo.
Passion for working with children.
Salary estimates around. R10 000 to R15000 Monthly.
