Job Description

Sales Team Leader

Location: Cape Town
Salary: R15000 R25000 per month (depending on experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

As a Sales Team Leader youll take charge of an outbound sales team reporting to the Outbound Sales Manager and working alongside other team leads. Youll drive sales performance coach your team to success and play a key role in optimising processes for better efficiency and conversions.

This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a knack for data people management and outbound sales strategies.

Requirements & Skills
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Team Lead in a call centre sales environment
  • Previous telesales experience targeting the UK market is essential
  • Strong understanding of sales data performance metrics and reporting
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to train motivate and manage team members effectively
  • Proactive self-motivated and able to prioritise tasks independently

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive team performance by improving cold calling and outbound processes
  • Offer coaching and support to team members and nurture leads effectively
  • Monitor KPIs conversions and call metrics to meet sales targets
  • Conduct coaching sessions manage performance issues and lead team huddles
  • Liaise with marketing to align messaging and strategy
  • Identify and implement sales process improvements
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate closely with senior management to scale and improve team structure
