Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
System Development Implementation and Maintenance
Plan organize and evaluate the operation of information systems and electronic data processing (EDP).
Collaborate with department heads to determine system requirements specifications costs and timelines.
Oversee the smooth operation of internal systems and coordinate system rollouts for franchisees.
Maintain a current and accurate inventory of all technology hardware software and resources.
Develop IT budgets and ensure cost-effective resource allocation across Infinity Brands and franchise locations.
Ticket Resolution and Support
Oversee the IT helpdesk ensuring all franchisee and internal/external tickets are resolved effectively and efficiently.
Assist with RDP sessions network issues Accpac and other IT-related concerns for franchisees.
Act as the main point of contact between franchisees and INF for IT-related issues ensuring SLAs with IT service providers are met.
Maintain a 90% ticket resolution rate and manage escalations promptly to maintain quality service.
Industry Knowledge and Data Security
Continuously research and assess emerging technologies and resources to introduce innovative solutions to INF.
Monitor the security of all technology systems ensuring compliance with POPI Act and data protection regulations.
Ensure secure access to company folders and drives implementing safeguards to protect company and client data.
Reporting and Project Management
Prepare detailed monthly IT reports for executive meetings summarizing operational metrics issues resolved and project progress.
Manage system rollouts such as Syspro for franchisees and ensure accurate content in training manuals by collaborating with corporate trainers.
Coordinate reporting dashboards integrating data from project management systems to support decision-making across departments.
Effective Teamwork and Self-Management
Manage priorities independently meeting all deliverables and providing support to team members when needed.
Follow all lawful instructions from the CTO/GM exemplifying strong judgment critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Foster a collaborative IT environment maintaining communication with internal departments and assisting the team in achieving shared goals.
National Diploma or Bachelor s Degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related field.
Relevant IT certifications are a strong advantage (e.g. CompTIA Cisco Microsoft ITIL).
Minimum 3 5 years of hands-on IT support or infrastructure experience.
At least 1 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
Proven experience managing IT projects or service delivery processes.
Strong knowledge of hardware networking software systems and troubleshooting methodologies.
Proficient in Windows and/or Linux server environments.
Experience with cloud technologies (e.g. Zoho AWS Google Cloud) is advantageous.
