Job Description
Holiday Hours: Mon - Fri 09:00 - 17:00
Area: Pearl Valley Estate Val De Vie Paarl
Ages: 4 year old girl (girly advanced for her age energetic doesnt like change) and 7 year old son (sporty Mild ADHD attends OT)
Working hours: Mon Fri: 13:30 - 19:00
Holiday Hours: Mon - Fri 09:00 - 17:00
Duties: Collect the children from school take to extra murals assist with and supervise homework unpack and pack bags for the following day. Ensure the areas are cleaned up after any activities assist the children in encouraging to keep their rooms and play areas neat and tidy. Assist with dinner preparations run errands occasional grocery shopping. OT Homework. Traveling with the family. Occasional Weekend work. Open communication with the family.
Requirements: Aged between 23 - 35 years old. Experience with the age group good driving history. Educational studies or background a bonus. ADHD experience or awareness. Able to travel with the family. Must be able to swim. Patient fun and bubbly. First Aid
Start date: ASAP or 01 September 2025 - Permanent role
Salary: R15 000 per month (gross before deductions) plus SARS Rates (R4.76) per km. The family does have a family vehicle that the candidate can use for childcare duties but they still require you to have your own car.
All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
**** Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
****Must have their own reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
****Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
****Must have a clear criminal record
****Must have a passion for children
****Must have Matric
****Must have a South African ID document.
