Job Description
We are looking for a reliable honest and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and order in private residences or guest properties in the Kyalami Midrand or Sandton areas. The ideal candidate must be trustworthy punctual and able to perform a variety of housekeeping duties with a high standard of hygiene and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily cleaning of rooms bathrooms kitchens living areas and outdoor spaces.
Laundry: washing ironing and folding clothes and linens.
Changing bed linens and making beds.
Running errands and basic shopping if required.
Deep cleaning tasks on a weekly or monthly basis.
Keeping inventory of cleaning products and household supplies.
Reporting any maintenance issues to the employer or property manager.
Requirements
Prior experience in a housekeeping or domestic role (minimum 2 years preferred).
Ability to use cleaning tools equipment and products safely and correctly.
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Trustworthy and respectful of confidentiality and property.
Good communication skills in English or local South African language(s).
Physically fit and able to manage the demands of the role.
Additional Requirements:
Must live in or near Kyalami Sandton or Midrand.
Must have reliable transport to/from work (if not live-in).
References from previous employers are required and will be verified.
South African ID or valid work permit is essential.
