What Were Looking For in a Cellar & Maintenance Assistant:
Were looking for a reliable hardworking Cellar & Maintenance Assistant to join us on a seasonal contract running from now until 12th January supporting the day-to-day operations of our busy high-volume bar during the peak festive season.
This is a part-time role typically 1520 hours per week with increased hours (up to 30 per week) expected during December.
The role is physical and hands-on focused on keeping our cellar bar areas and back-of-house operations running smoothly and safely.
Your responsibilities will include:
Manual handling of kegs gas cylinders and stock you must be physically fit and confident lifting and moving heavy items
Stock rotation and organisation to ensure efficiency and minimise waste
Beer line cleaning and maintaining all dispense systems to high hygiene standards
Receiving and safely storing deliveries
Daily weekly and monthly deep cleaning of the cellar bar and equipment
Cleaning and maintaining: glass washers ice machines coolers and other bar equipment
Jet washing outdoor areas and equipment as required
Minor maintenance tasks including basic painting fitting toilet seats tightening fixtures and reporting any major issues
Early morning availability is essential to support deliveries cleaning and prep before the bar opens
Working closely with the management and bar team to ensure everything behind the scenes runs smoothly and efficiently
Were looking for someone hands-on practical and detail-oriented who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in doing the job well. Prior experience is helpful but full training will be provided.
